Introduction

A standard rooftop solar system consists of many solar panels connected in series. Each panel generates electricity, and when connected in series, the voltages add up, allowing the entire string to produce a direct current voltage of thousands of volts. As long as sunlight shines on the panels, this voltage always exists. This means that even if you turn off the inverter or other switches, the photovoltaic panels still carry high voltage.

In past fire incidents, because the photovoltaic panels were live, firefighters were unable to promptly carry out firefighting operations, thereby increasing personnel safety risks and also causing property damage.

RSD is specifically designed to solve this problem. YRO has made targeted optimizations to the RSD this time.

First, reinforcement ribs have been added to the screw posts on the surface cover. This design enhances the bending and torsional resistance of the screw posts, preventing bending deformation or breakage when tightening screws or under external force.

Secondly, there is an upgrade to the internal switch structure. In the actual use of PV rapid shutdown , the rotating shaft of the switch will gradually wear down with multiple switching operations.
